Tinget has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page describes the standards we hold ourselves to: how the app's design limits exposure, how concerns are reported, and what happens when a report is confirmed.
How Tinget is built
Tinget hosts private, invite-only friend groups. There is no public content, no discovery, no search, no public profiles and no contact with strangers: every group is joined through a personal invite code, and members only ever see the groups they belong to. Tinget is not directed at children under 13, and its store listings are rated accordingly.
Prohibited content and behaviour
Any content or conduct that sexualises, exploits or endangers a minor is prohibited. This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, and the solicitation of minors. A confirmed violation leads to immediate removal of the content and termination of the account, and the material is preserved and reported to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the Norwegian police (Kripos) where applicable.
Reporting a concern
Child safety concerns can be reported directly in the app (long-press a message and choose Report) or by email to privacy@tingetapp.download. Every report is reviewed by a person. Confirmed CSAE reports are acted on within 24 hours of review.
Compliance
We comply with applicable child safety laws in every market where Tinget is available and cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement. The designated point of contact for CSAM prevention and compliance is privacy@tingetapp.download.
Changes
If these standards change materially, this page is updated with a new effective date.
